Is a yellowy biproduct of the process of producing soybeans into soybean oil.


Where does SOY LECITHIN come from?

Soy Beans, Glycine max, a legume that is one of the most prolific plants grown in agriculture.


How is SOY LECITHIN made?

After Soybeans are pressed to extract the oil, soy lecithin and the beans natural fibers are left. A second pressing can produce the yellowish paste that is soy lecithin or it can be chemically removed from the mash as well.


Is SOY LECITHIN healty for me?

Most people with soy allergies needn’t worry about products containing soy lecithin, because it is derived from the soybean oil, whereas the allergy itself relates to the soy protein.
